RECRUITMENT AGAINST CULTURAL QUOTA FOR THE YEAR 2025-26 (LEVEL 20F PAYMATRIX 7″ CPC) IN NORTHERN RAILWA.

Expected Date of Online Written Examination &Assessment of Talent: July 2025

Examination Fees: Examination Fees will be paid Online.

1. For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-para (ii) below: Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only through Online Payment in favour of RRC/NR.The examination fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
2. For candidates belonging to SC/ST, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes: Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty) only. Examination Fee will be refunded to these Categories of Candidate only when they actually appear in the Written Examination.
3. Candidate to note that in case of refund of Examination Fee it will be transferred back to the source from where it is received in RRC Account.

Scheme for recruitment: The recruitment process shall consist of the following :-

1. Written Test (Objective type) 50 marks
2. Assessment of Talent in the relevant field on the basis of
   • Practical demonstration of 35 marks
   • Testimonial/Prizes etc. of 15 marks
   • Total of 100 marks.

Medical Examination: Candidates recommended for appointment will have to pass the requisite medical fitness standards prescribed for the post to be identified by the Northern Railway Administration.

Period of Probation: 2 years.

Desirable Qualification:

(i). Experience in the field and performance given on AIR/Doordarshan etc.

(ii). Prizes won at National Level.

Educational Details

1. 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50%marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC/ST/EX-SM candidates and candidates who possess qualification higher than 12th (+2 stages). Typing proficiency in English/Hindi on computer is essential.
2. For Classical Dancer (Kathak) (Female) – Candidate should process Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Classical Dance (Kathak) form Govt. recognized institute.
3. For Singer (Female)- Candidate should posses Degree/Diploma/ Certificate in related field of Light Music vocal from government recognised institute.
